Craig Blancato Obituary

Craig Blancato, 54, of New Britain, Conn., passed away Feb. 19, 2018. He was a lifelong Red Sox and Cowboys fan and loved to talk about sports. He volunteered as an assistant coach for Fagan Little League baseball. Craig was well liked, was outgoing and loved his family.

He is survived by his longtime love, Diane Schmitt; his four sons, Danny Blancato of New Britain, Bryan Blancato and wife, Paula, of New York, Michael and John Blancato of Berlin; three grandchildren; a sister, Lorelee Was of New Britain; brother, Tom Blancato of Maine and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Charlene Scanlan and brother, Ron Was
