Charles (Chuck) Arbaugh II

Charles (Chuck) Arbaugh II passed away on February 14, 2019 at home in Preston, CT. Chuck was born on July 25,1965 at the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT. He was the son of Charlene Maurer, whom he lived with, and Charles Arbaugh from McAlester, Oklahoma.

Chuck was a kind, loving, and gentile soul who would drop anything to help someone in need. He loved playing his guitar and jamming with friends.

In his younger years he traveled with the Grateful Dead band in his vintage Volkswagen bus making tie-dyes back and forth across the country.

Chuck was a great independent mechanic and carpenter.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Charles and Carlene Watkins and Bill and Mary Arbaugh.

Chuck is survived by his mother and father; his step-mother Marilyn; his brothers George (Dan) Forson and Anthony Arbaugh; his sister-in-law Jennifer; his nephews Thomas and Henry; his nieces Lucy and Ella Forson, all from Dublin, Ohio.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Chuck on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 3pm-7pm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall at 28 Spicer Rd., Preston, CT 06365. Interment will be at a later date.
