He was predeceased by his wife Judith Garcia and mother Lola Garcia.

He was the husband of Michelle Garcia of North Carolina.

He is survived by daughters Miranda (Michael) Bunnell of Meriden, Jessica (Sara) Garcia-O’Shea of Milford; sons Christopher Jr. of Meriden, Jason Garcia of West Haven; Grandchildren Mikayla and Justin Bunnell of Meriden; His Father, Joseph Garcia Sr. of Wallingford and brothers Joseph Garica Jr. of Wallingford and Richard Garcia of North Haven.
