Diana M Belanger

Diana M. Belanger, 66, of Bristol, CT passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at John Dempsey Hospital.  Diana was born in Caribou, Maine and lived most of her life in Hartford, CT, before moving to Bristol.  She was the loving daughter of the late Joan Estelle (Chapman) Speziale and John Speziale of Hartford, CT.  A loving mother, Diana is survived by her four sons, Roland Cyr and his wife Denise of East Hampton, CT,  Jose "Joe" Santana and his wife Kristina of Cromwell, CT,  Jeffrey Santana and his significant other Patricia Reilly of Plainville, CT, and Jason Santana and his significant other Emily Laviolette of Southington, CT, three siblings, Donna Rowe of Stockbridge, MA, Debbie and her husband William Holmes of Stockbridge, MA and David Chapman and his wife Mary-K of Killingworth, CT, Thirteen adored grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Danny Chapman. 

Diana was a wonderful spirit and was always doing things for others.  She loved spending time with family, cooking, baking and sharing her delicious creations with everyone.  Diana loved her grandchildren,  who affectionately referred to her as "Mima," and was always so happy anytime she was able to spend time with them, they were all very special to her.  Diana will be sorely missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the JDH nursing staff and the Hartford Healthcare Hospice staff for their care and compassion. A memorial service for Diana Belanger will be held on Thursday May 24th 2018 at the Luddy & Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street in New Britain, CT with calling hours from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral service will be private.
