Edna Barrett

Edna (McDonough) Barrett, 93, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. Born in New London to the late Edward McDonough and Julia Sullivan.

In life, Edna is predeceased by her husband William Barrett; her friend and companion Ted Trella; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Wilson and her husband Richard of South Windsor, and Josephine Toby and her husband George of FL, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Westfield Care and Rehab for the wonderful care to Edna in her last years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Rd, New Britain, CT. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society at: https://www.cancer.org/ .
