Eric D. Bacote

On September 16, 2018 on Sunday morning the mission ended in this land of an honest, kind and hard-working man who with his shy smile won many friends.

Eric was born in New Haven- CT on April 18, 1958,
son of Margaret Dolores Bacote, father of Monique Bacote and husband of Nina Bacote.
Everything has a definite time, and there is time for every purpose under heaven. There is time to be born and time to die; a time to plant, and a time to reap that which is planted; a time to overthrow, and a time to build; Time to cry and time to laugh and time to rejoice. (Ecclesiastes 3)

It is a certainty that is born with all of us, that one day we will leave this life towards the unknown. It is the inevitable end that everyone knows. But it matters little how much we know, how much we expect and fear this final goodbye. For when he knocks on the door unexpectedly and takes a person who is dear to us, the shock is tremendous as now, that's gone, without warning, without time to prepare the heart.
