Irene (Sacco) Campana

Irene (Sacco) Campana, 97, of New Britain, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Born in Kelares, PA to the late Joseph and Josephine Sacco.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Louis Campana. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Angelo Sacco, Peter Sacco, George Sacco, and Elizabeth Saco. Irene leaves behind her son, Jerry Campana, of Berlin, CT and a niece, Georgeann Gilcrest.

Irene worked many years for the City of New Britain as a lunch mom. She loved children. She enjoyed to play cards with her friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10 AM, at St Joseph Church, 195 S. Main St., New Britain, CT.  Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 1309 Stanley St., New Britain.
