MaryAnn Soroka, age 66, sadly lost her battle with cancer and passed away on February 8, 2019 at her home in Berlin, CT surrounded by her family. MaryAnn lived most of her life in Berlin where, for the past nineteen years, she worked for the Town of Berlin. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Nyquist of New Britain.
MaryAnn will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, a dedicated wife, a generous sister, and a friend to many in the community. She had a large heart and was always there to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A mass will be held at St. Paul’s Church, 461 Alling Street in Berlin on Thursday, February 14 at 11:30am. Friends may call at the Kenny Luddy Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St. in New Britain from 5:30 to 7:30 on Wednesday, February 13th.
