Monica Lynn Creighton, 33, entered eternal life suddenly on May 3, 2019 and was reunited with her mother, Lynn Pronovost, who passed June 12, 2015 and her brother, Joseph Hopkins, who passed September 13, 2009.

Monica was born March 12, 1986 in Waterbury. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Mariah Manzano; her father Robert Creighton; her half-brother Michael Creighton, and her half-brother Justin Creighton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; maternal grandparents Edward and Claire (Beaulieu) Pronovost; her sister Jennifer Pronovost and her brother Robert Creighton of Waterbury; her nieces Jaylynn Hopkins, LeMia Feliciano, and Adrianna Creighton; her nephews Christian Ross and Joseph Creighton; her aunt Deborah (Pronovost) Dalessio and her husband Joseph Dalessio; her cousins Dylan and Dominique Dalessio of Bethlehem; her uncle Michael Pronovost; her uncle Edward Pronovost and her cousins Michael Pronovost and Zachary Pronovost of Waterbury; her aunt Alicia Pronovost and her wife Lisa Corner of Elmwood Park, New Jersey; her long-time boyfriend Andrew (Macho) Martinez.

Monica was a beautiful, vivacious young lady who was known by many! She will be greatly missed. Her family would like to thank all of the first responders that tried to save her. We would like to thank Jamie Cossette for setting up a fundraiser and everyone that donated to help with her arrangements. Many thanks to Pastor William Ulah Jr. and his wife, Amy, for assisting us with the arrangements.

The celebration of life will take place Monday, May 20, 2019 at The Rock Church, 513 Meriden Road, Waterbury at 10-11a.m.; Pastor William Ulah Jr. will host a service from 11-11:30. Burial will follow immediately at New Pine Grove Cemetery at 12pm at 850 Meridian Road, Waterbury 06705.
