Patricia Rowell Obituary

Patricia Rowell, 93, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2018. She was born on May 19, 1925, in Fort Kent, Maine to George and Elizabeth (Lahey) Savage and was one of six children. Patricia was a devoted home maker and loved cooking, praised especially for her spaghetti & meatballs.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Janice Rowell of New Britain; her brother Burns Patrick Savage of Long Meadow, MA; her granddaughter Jennifer Desjardins of Union City, NJ; her sister-in-law Vera Rowell of Rocky Hill; and close family friend Christine Baker.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Rowell; her parents George and Elizabeth Savage; her brothers Fortier, Gillman, James, and Martin; and her sister Ann.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 10am at St. Joseph Church, 195 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will follow at State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
