Peter L. Beltrame

A much-loved brother and uncle, Peter L. Beltrame, 88, of New Britain passed away of September 29, 2018 at Ledgecrest Health Care Center.

He was born June 29, 1930 in New Britain, CT to Louis and Adele Beltrame. He graduated from New Britain High School and joined the Air Force. After serving in the military, Peter went to UConn and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration in 1956. Peter went on to work at Travelers and retired in 1991. Peter enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and went to Italy several times to visit family. He also loved sports, especially the NY Yankees, Green Bay Packers, and UConn basketball.

Peter is survived by his sister Mary Lamkins and her husband Royal of Kensington; a nephew Jon Lamkins, his wife Kelli and their 2 children Samantha and Jordan of Southington; and his niece Dena Branciforte, her husband Joseph and their daughter Dani of Rocky Hill.

We would like to thank all the wonderful people at Ledgecrest and Masonicare Hospice for all they did for Peter.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10am at St. Joseph Church, 195 S. Main St., New Britain. Family and friends may call at the Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., New Britain, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 4pm to 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St, Joseph Church, New Britain.
