Ricky Dubay, Jr.

Ricky Dubay Jr, age 22, from Newington CT, currently living in New Britain CT, passed away suddenly on Monday October 1, 2018.  He was born on October 13, 1995 in Hartford, Ct.  He graduated Newington High in 2013 and Lincoln College in 2017 with an electrical degree.  He was working at The Home Depot on the Berlin Turnpike, which gave him a lot of joy and happiness.  He loved football with his favorite team being the Denver Broncos.  He loved playing video games with his nephew.  He always had a smile and ready to make a joke and make everyone laugh.  He was a sweet, loving, kind hearted person.  He is survived by his mother Jennifer Golebiewski, great-grandmother Eleanor Golebiewski, pepere and memere, Fidele and Nel Dubay, Grandfather Thaddeus Golebiewski, Brother Louis Cosnotti, Sister Rebecca Walton and her companion Jason Levesque, Sister Jessica Dubay and her companion Blaine Anderson, and sister Aliyah.  A Nephew and Niece Thaddeus Walton and Allison Levesque.  His aunt Kym Dubay and her son Jeremy with his companion Jazmine and daughter Lavender.  His Uncle and Aunt Thaddeus and Valerie Golebiewski and their children Kathleen and Nicolas.  He also leaves behind many other Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was predeceased by his father Ricky Dubay Sr, Grandmother Marcia (Bobo) Golebiewski, and his loving Aunt Barbara Walton who raised him as her own son.  With a special thank you to The Home Depot for supporting him with work throughout the year and his nurse Sandy.  A memorial service for Ricky will be held on Tuesday, October 9,2018 at the Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., New Britain, from 3-6 PM. Burial will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St., New Britain, at 11AM.
