Shawn (Nesbitt) Petratelli , 38 of Kensington,CT  passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 26, 2017. He was born May 12, 1979, in Phillipsburg, NJ. His family relocated to Connecticut and he was raised in New Britain and Berlin. Shawn attended New Britain Schools and Berlin High School. Shawn was an independent semi –truck driver from age 18 to 26 years old. Shawn also attended barber school and enjoyed his new career in this field for several years. Shawn will best remembered as a caring and loving person who would help out others without hesitation. Shawn is survived by his loving and devoted mother Donna Dubowsky, his siblings, Lauren Duquette, Rachael Ortiz, Jason Dubowsky and Ricki Wilchuck and their spouses. He leaves behind his cherished and loving children Khalil(19), Christian(17), Kayla(16) & Giovanni(4). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his only surviving maternal grandparent Marguerite Allshouse. He is predeceased by his father Richard Nesbitt and other immediate family members. Calling hours will be held on on Friday, December 1, 2017  at Luddy’s Funeral Home 205 S Main Street, New Britain, CT from 5pm until 8pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
