Tammy Daniels Obituary

Tammy Ann Daniels, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2019 at Backus Hospital. Tammy was a long time resident of Norwich; born at Backus Hospital on August 31, 1967. Tammy is survived by her mother, Sheila, father, Monroe, sisters Lisa, Michelle, and Kelly, and one brother, Danny. Tammy also left behind four living children; Jennifer, Casondra, Robert, and Keela, and was predeceased by her daughter Kiana. She had five grandchildren, with two more expected.

Tammy attended Norwich Free Academy in high school. She had a variety of jobs throughout her life; the most important being a mother to many. Tammy loved holidays, especially Christmas, and she enjoyed being around family and loved ones. Tammy was known for her humor during difficult times in life. She would often open her home to those in need and organize many family functions. She will be remembered for being a trusted confidant to all, but most importantly, her family.

There will be a private service for family and close friends Saturday, June 29, 2019, followed by a celebration of life from 4-8, open to all who would like to pay their respects to Tammy and family. The celebration will take place at the residence of family, 61 Flyers Drive, Norwich. Any flowers or additional donations can be sent to this address.
