Alicia Lee Barnett

Alicia "Lee" Barnett, died unexpectedly on October 4th,2022 at the age of 70 in New Britain, Connecticut. Alicia born Aurea Irizarry and Prudencio Irizarry December 17th 1951. She is Predeceased by both of her parents. Alicia lived majority of her life in New Britain, she owned a small store for a very long time, a place everyone can remember. She was full of life and always lived it how she wanted. She was stubborn and she was tough but she loved. When she lost it didn't change her. Alicia was one of a kind. She loved animals from dogs, to horses and her favorite dolphins. That's where you could see the love in her. She was kind hearted and had a humble soul. No matter the impact she has made in each and everyone of you, no matter what that looks like, all that matters is she made one. You will always remember her exactly how she was. Alicia is survived by her brothers. Prudencio (Papo) George, Edward and sister Edna. Also survived by her daughters Brandy, Daniella (Danie) and Amy. Followed by her grand-children Antione, Kimani, Diamond, Mya, Jerimiah, Kryslyn, Frankie, Aniya, Avey, and Deedee. As well as her only Great Grand-child Lennox. She loved and knew so many so thank you to all extended family (Kaitlyn, Julie, and Anthony) and all of our family friends that have been around her and have shared these last years of her life with us. Thank you for the support during this hard time.
