Allen Richard Johnson Sr 62 passed away peacefully on April 12,2026 in Meriden, Connecticut. Allen was born in New Haven, Connecticut on January 30, 1964. Allen was the beloved husband of Leona (Card) Johnson.

He is survived by his children Allen Johnson Jr (Annastasia) and Nicole Johnson. His grandchildren, Adrien Johnson, Julian Johnson, Ajay Johnson and Tatianna. His sisters Beth Johnson and Chris Johnson, his brother Eric Johnson and his Stepmother Mary Lou Johnson. As well as many sister-in laws, brother-in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved friends and his Sweetheart. He was predeceased by his parents Harvey and Francis Johnson.

 Allen was the best version of himself at all times—a man who believed in himself and everyone around him, and who consistently chose his family over everything else. He was a fun, loving, and caring person who found great joy in working on cars, helping others, and manning the grill at our family picnics.

Allen spent his final moments surrounded by those he loved most. The support our family has received is a testament to the wonderful man he was—someone who would give the shirt off his back or offer a friendly hug to anyone in need.

Even as his health declined, he fought with incredible strength until his last breath, and that resilience will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

He will be forever loved and respected as the man he was, and will long be appreciated. Love is a word, pain is a feeling, a life is respected. Allen Richard Johnson Sr will never be forgotten and will always be cherished in our hearts.
