Amy Rebecca (Phelps) Owen, age 83 of Bristol Connecticut, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Bristol Hospital in Bristol, Connecticut due to complications from the effects of Dementia.

Amy loved going out to eat and would often joke how she hated to cook.
Taking long car rides would bring her much comfort and peace, she would love finding beautiful trees.
She was always so thrilled when she would find treasures at tag sales and thrift shops. She had a real knack of finding unbelievable discoveries just discarded on the side of the road.
Amy is predeceased by her mother Lillian Adele (Perry) and father Jessie Lee Phelps, her stepfather William H. Porter, her son Gary Michael Greco, her first husband John Greco, her second husband James Porter who during her last years of life Amy and her husband Berkley were able to renew her friendship with and who also passed away this year. Her aunt Lula Champion, who she loved like a mother, her dear cousin Jean Bardos, and her stepson Walter Owen.
