Anna T. Gibney, 96, of New Britain, died peacefully on February 2, 2024. Her huge and generous heart will be deeply missed in this world. Anna was born in Meriden in 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Cebula) Nadjuch. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Sr. Gibney and son Kenneth Gibney.
Anna attended Meriden schools and graduated from New Britain General Hospital Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 1968 and worked many years as a nurse in the hospital and in private practice.
Anna is survived by her sons Kevin and Art and his wife Jody, and granddaughter Ann Marie Gibney; sisters Josephine Kulak and Elizabeth Dudek, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Walter and Stanley Najduch, and sister Stephanie Pulaski.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday February 15th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 195 South Main Street in New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
