Audrey Hardy

On Jan 8th, our beloved and beautiful mother, Audrey Hardy, passed away at 92, in her home, surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Henry and Sandra Jones of MA; sister, Barbara of MA; sons, Paul Hardy III of MN and his wife Nancy and Scott Hardy of CT and his wife Roslyn; daughters Carol of NV and her husband William (Kim), and Ellen of CT; grandchildren, Spencer, Bryant, Rose, Tyler, Matthew, Kailyn, Shayla, Sean, Shawn, Victor, Kimora, Heather, and Isabella; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Hudson, and Melina.

Audrey has a passion for cooking and was well known for her recipes, old and new.  She loved baking pies for her family.  She also loved gardening, dancing with friends, and a bit of white wine in the evening.

Audrey worked as a Nurse’s Aid at Bristol Hospital, and after retiring, moved into an apartment at her daughter, Ellen’s, home, where she enjoyed her greatest calling, helping to raise her grandchildren.  She attended at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Terryville.

Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friends; always willing to help.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

No service at this time, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
