Benjamin DeCrosta

Benjamin "Ben" DeCrosta, 80, of East Hartford, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and good friend to so many, died Sunday, June 25th, 2023 at Hospital of Central Connecticut. Ben was born in New Haven, June 9th, 1943; a son of the late Benjamin and Rose Richitelli DeCrosta; brother of the late Pat DeCrosta. Before retirement, Ben was a gifted mechanic who owned his own business. Surviving are a son, Paul DeCrosta (Lisa) of Killingworth, a daughter, Kristine DeCrosta of Branford, 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; 1 brother, John DeCrosta of Winsted and 2 sisters, Josephine Keppel and Antoinette Cofrancesco both of East Haven. Funeral arrangements are private and in the care of Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home & Crematory, 205 S. Main St., New Britain, CT.  Donations can be made in Ben's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
