It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bonnie Duplin, 65, of Hartford Ct. on December 24, 2020. She was born on July, 1, 1955 to the late Eli Duplin and to Paula (Duplin) Dailey. She was born and raised in Hartford Ct, graduating from Hartford Public High School and then Greater Hartford Community College. Bonnie was a hard worker who often put the needs of others before her own. She was known for helping others whether it was family or friends. She always had an open door and an open ear. Bonnie is survived by her mother and her five children Melissa, Melynda, John, Michelle, and Joshua, her 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews, many of whose names she mixed up. She was predeceased by her grandson, sister, and brother. Bonnie was a well-loved preschool teacher who worked with children for over 20 years. She was a two-time breast cancer survivor. She loved to swim, read, and tell (dirty)jokes. She was a prankster who loved to laugh. She had her last laugh all planned for how she would scare people at her funeral but due to Covid, this will not get to happen. We are sorry you will miss this. Her family will have a private service and will have a celebration of her life on her birthday in the summer of 2021.
