Carol Elizabeth (Stanick) Tuttle

Carol Elizabeth (Stanick) Tuttle, 87, of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, passed away on November 3, 2025, at Bickford Health Care Center in Windsor Locks.

Born on December 22, 1937, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Carol was the daughter of the late Harold Stanick and Marian (Scudds) Stanick. She attended Clark University in Worcester, MA earning a Bachelors in Mathematics.

Carol began her career as a computer programmer with IBM before dedicating several years to raising her family. Later, she worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service.

In November 1959, Carol married the love of her life, Edwin Charles “Ed” Tuttle. Together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, traveling throughout the United States in their motor home and spending winters as happy snowbirds in Bradenton, Florida.

Carol was a talented crafter who took great pride in her beautiful handiwork. She created exquisite cross stitch and needlepoint pictures which she often gifted to her family and friends. She also designed and sewed handmade quilts which she enjoyed creating with the women of the Windsor Locks Quilting Club at the Senior Center.

Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ed; her son, Kenneth Edwin Tuttle; and her parents, Harold and Marian. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Tuttle Pizzarelli and Sharon Tuttle Cannon (James) of Windsor Locks, CT; daughter-in-law, Ivelisse Pimentel Tuttle of New Paltz, NY; sisters, Dr. Patricia Dick (David) of Dartmouth, MA and Suzanne Johnson of Jamaica, VA; and her cherished grandchildren, Summer A. Tuttle of Maybrook, NY; Wyatt J. Cannon and Owen T. Cannon of Windsor Locks, CT. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Carol and Ed will be interred together at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at the convenience of the family.
