Christopher Maynard

Christopher (Chris) Thomas Maynard passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 24,2023 after a brief illness.  He was loved, raised and educated by Judge Robert (Bob) Maynard and Margaret (Peg) Maynard, in Bristol, Connecticut.

He leaves behind a brother, Timothy and two sisters, Nicole and Lisa.  Per Chris’ wishes, a private ceremony will be held. 

Here are his words... as he says goodbye:

I've had a surprisingly quick ending... to a really really great life.  

My dynamic & exciting professional and avocational work life has taken me around the globe including to the continents of Africa, Asia and Australia, and around this beautiful country... from the Northwest to Southern California... to the far Southwest,  many places in the Midwest... all the way, recently, to south Florida... as well as many, many Native reservations.

I've met a great diversity and depth of people. I feel so, so very blessed to have had these amazing life experiences.

To my family members ~ my sisters, Lisa and Nicole, and my brother Tim;  all of my Mason first cousins who really grew up with me as 6 additional brothers ~ and my very dear friends…

I love you all and will miss you very, very much.
