Danuta A Latarska

Danuta A. Latarska, who was a longtime resident of New Britain, passed away on August 30,2023 Surrounded by her family after losing her long battle with Lung Cancer. She was 72 years old. Danuta was born in Nowy Staw Poland, she was the daughter of Adolf Berger and Teresa Pokoj. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in New Britain. Danuta will be remembered for her admiration of flowers and in her free time she enjoyed creating beautiful flower arrangements for her family and friends. She also loved relaxing in Cape Cod where she spent many happy moments with her loved ones. She is survived by her husband Jan Latarski, her daughter and son in law Monika and Robert Kowal. She was a devoted Babcia (Grandmother) to her two grandchildren Kaya and Jacob Kowal whom she loved more than anything else in the world. Danuta is also survived by her three sisters Maria Adamczyk, Teresa Siewicz, Ewa Chajdecka and her brother Grzegorz Pokoj. She also cherished her close relationships with her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert Latarski. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service that will be held on Friday September 8, 2023, 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church located at 158 Broad St New Britain CT 06053.
