Darlene Marquis Obituary

Darlene Mae (Woodward) Marquis, 67, of Plainville, Connecticut passed away peacefully at
home surrounded by her loved ones on September 26, 2022. She is survived by her husband of
47 years, Richard Marquis; her children Kelly (Doug) Derosier, Robert (Kerry) Marquis, Diamond
Marquis, Kelly Lynn Marquis, and Elijah Marquis; as well as six grandchildren. She also leaves her
sister, Cynthia (Conrad) Fontaine; and brothers-in-law Roger (Sue) Marquis and David Marquis,
as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Helen
(Fadden) Woodward, her sister Elaine Woodward, and her brother Bryant Woodward.

Family and friends may gather for a graveside service in celebration of Darlene’s life on Saturday,
October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at West Cemetery, 180 North Washington Street, Plainville,
Connecticut.
