DAVID CORNISH

David Cornish, aged 76, passed away on November 5, 2023.  

David is survived by his wife Alice of 53 years, his son Jason, daughter Julie, and 3 grandchildren Nya, Everett, and Dylan.

David was a very private man and did not want to burden his friends with knowledge of his prostate cancer diagnosis. He was determined to beat it, and all who knew him knew of his eternal optimism. He utilized visualization and was making great progress with his cancer treatments. His passing was a sudden, unexpected, and premature departure.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather & friend, and will be sorely missed by us all.

David was an engineer by trade and was always working on projects. He designed the family home which Alice still occupies. He was an avid skier and looked forward to annual trips to Vermont. He enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many national parks in 42 states across the US. 

He was looking forward to his next family adventure in Myrtle Beach, SC to collect shark’s teeth with his grandkids. He will be with us in spirit when we scatter his ashes and hold him in our hearts.
