Denis Joseph Boucher

Denis Joseph Boucher, 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Newington, Connecticut on June 30, 2023. He was born in Asbestos, Québec, Canada to Simone and Raymond Boucher and moved to Connecticut in 1963. He married his wife, Marie Boucher, four years later and the couple had three daughters. Denis worked as a plumber for most of his life until his retirement from Hartford Hospital in 2012. 

Outside of work, Denis enjoyed both fishing and hunting. After retiring, he maintained his love for the outdoors, and turned his interests towards gardening as well as caring for the various birds, chipmunks, and other wildlife that resided in his backyard. 

Denis is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, three daughters, one son-in-law, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. His loved ones were by his side during his final days. Despite his failing health, he maintained his sense of humor until the very end. Family members will forever remember him as a provider, a person who ensured that everyone around him was well-taken care of.
