Dennis Charles Perachio

Dennis Charles Perachio, 71, of Clinton Connecticut, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Central Connecticut State Hospital. 

Dennis was born in Bridgeport to the late Raymond and Mary Perachio on April 28, 1949.  He went to Central High School and graduated from the University of New Haven.  He later married Theresa Segalla on August 22, 1971. He worked at United Nuclear and Electric Boat before owning his own fitness gym in Old Saybrook. 

Dennis, known for his infectious laugh, enjoyed fishing and clamming during the summers on Cape Cod.  He also had a love for cooking, eating and sharing stories.

Dennis was predeceased by parents, Raymond and Mary Perachio and his brother, Robert C. Perachio of Newtown, Connecticut.  In addition to his former wife, Theresa Perachio; Dennis is survived by his bother, John Perachio of Monroe. Two children, Robert D. Perachio and his wife, Mollie, of Norton, MA; and Devri Gill and her husband, William, of Killingworth.  Dennis had 5 grandchildren: Lucy, Cora, Miles, Morgan, and Jackson along with many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will take place at a future date when the Covid-19 crisis is over.
