Dennis Was, 68, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly at HOCC Thursday Dec. 31, 2020.

He was a lifelong resident of New Britain. He was the son of the late Ronald W. Was and Lorraine Mozzicato.

Surviving are his daughter Lorelee Was of New Britain and son Thomas Blancato of Maine, his 4 grandchildren Travon Was, Tessa Was ,Tyler Was, Ashley Palmisano and 7 great grandchildren as well as a sister Kelly Was and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dennis was predeceased by his sons Ronald Was , Craig Blancato and former wife Charlene Scanlon.
