Dewey A. Main, Jr. ~ July 27, 1966 - September 30, 2023
It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of Dewey A. Main, Jr, age 57, of Plainville, CT.
He peacefully departed this life too soon on the morning of September 30, 2023 at Hartford Hospital with Kim and his family by his side.
Dewey was born July 27, 1966 in New Britain, CT. He attended New Britain Schools and graduated from New Britain High in 1984.
He was employed at Price Chopper Supermarket for 20 years with the last 5 or so years working as the Receiver, in his younger years Dewey worked for New Britain Candy in Berlin, Food Bag on Arch St. and at New Britian Red Sox Stadium. He was a kind and caring friend.
Dewey died after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure. He believed in God, he loved music, animals, nature and old cars. He was an avid tag saler his whole life, looking for treasures to bring to Mansfield Flea Market every weekend. He was a loyal lifetime Red Sox Baseball and Green Bay Packers Football fan.
He leaves the love of his life Kim Rochette and their 2 felines, Sweet Pea, 17 & Cosmo 7. Who miss him very much.
