Donald A. Daveluy

Donald A. Daveluy, 89 of Oakville, CT passed peacefully on October 12, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital. Donald was born August 7, 1932 to Alide and Mae (O’Neil) Daveluy.  He was raised in Watertown, CT. Donald was a Navy Veteran and served on the USS John R. Peirce (DD-753) during the Korean war. He worked and retired from the Town of Watertown as a Greenskeeper for Crestbrook Golf Course, was an avid golfer and loved his Boston Red Sox.

Donald leaves behind his children Debrah (Bob) Parsons, Patricia (Mark) Engberg, Michelle Miller, and Diane Daveluy. He leaves three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many friends.  He was predeceased by his son Donnie, daughter Barbara Ann and his fiancée, Regina Markham.  Donald also leaves behind his fiancées children and caregivers Cheryl Dunn, her family, and Thomas Ferland.  A Celebration of Life will be held on November 30, 2021 6-10pm at Riverhill Restaurant in Waterbury, CT.  Graveside services will be held at a future date.  On line condolences may be left through Luddy Peterson Funeral home, New Britain, CT.
