Donna McAllister Obituary

Donna McAllister, a beloved grandmother, devoted mother and wife died on Thursday, September 2nd after a courageous fight against COVID.

Donna is survived by her husband, Kenneth McAllister; two sons, Michael McAllister and wife Kimberly McAllister, Matthew McAllister; and two grandsons Gabriel McAllister and Noah McAllister; and Sisters Carol O’Connell and her husband Jim; and Barbara Dunn and her husband Rich. She was predeceased by sister, Judith Belliveau and parents Helen Scotillo and Charles Scotillo.

Donna was born in New Britain General Hospital December 2, 1957 to Helen Scotillo and Charles Scotillo. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University in Sociology. She met the love of her life in New Britain and were married May 23, 1981. They had two sons, Michael December 8, 1982 and Matthew May 2, 1990.

Donna was a beam of light to anyone around her. She loved her grandchildren and was devoted to her family. She loved the beach and looked forward to retirement in South Carolina with her husband. She lived her life with God’s intentions around her. Donna could be seen with a drink in her hand and her toes in the sand and her smile glowing to all those around her. She was selfless with a heart of gold and will be missed by her friends and family alike.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, September 11th  at 1:00 pm at South Church, 90 Main
Street, New Britain, CT 06051.
