Edgar Chrystal

Edgar “Eddie” Chrystal, a longtime resident of Killingworth, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 49.

Born in Middletown, Connecticut, he was the son of the late James Chrystal and Annette Chrystal (Melanson). He attended HK High School and later earned his GED.

Eddie loved fishing, playing football with his children, tattooing, drawing, and listening to his favorite rock bands. He will be remembered for his smile, his laugh, and his unconditional love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Chrystal (Baker); his six children — Anthony, Bethany, Johnathan, James, Autumn, and Emilie; his brother, Paul Chrystal; and his nieces, Lilly (his goddaughter) and Molly; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will be planning a service at a later time, with details to be shared on their social media.
