Eileen S. Niksa

Eileen S. (Schneider) Niksa, 72, of Bristol, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jeff Niksa.

Devoted mother to Joseph Andrews Jr. and his wife Lisa of Bradenton, FL, Suzette Bernier and her husband Peter of Plainville and Jason Andrews and his wife Heather of Bradenton, FL. She was a loving Grandmother (Mema) to Bryan Andrews of Bradenton, Kaitlyn Bernier of Windsor Locks, CT and Alexandra and Elisabeth Bernier of Plainville, CT and Avan Andrews of Bradenton, FL. She is survived by her brother Arthur Schneider of Plainville. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Schneider and Florence Croft.

Eileen fought courageously against terminal lung cancer for over 5 years. She had such strength and determination that she was going to be with her family for as long as possible. The family would like to thank the Bristol Cancer Center and Home Care & Hospice Agency for the outstanding care they provided. We would like to especially thank Julie, Amber, Marlene and Rhonda.

Funeral Services will be private and held at a later date.
