Emily A (Muszynski) Rossignol Obituary

Emily Rossignol, 95, of New Britain CT, loving wife of the late Janel Rossignol for 67 years,
entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2026. Emily was Janel’s one and only true love and she will
now reunite with him in heaven. Emily is the daughter of the late John and Anna (Bogaczyk)
Muszynski.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt,
cousin and a devoted member of her church, St John the Evangelist. She put her family, friends
and others foremost – not for praise, but with God’s love in her heart. Mom loved meeting new
people wherever she went and was a very social lady. Mom had tremendous sewing skills used
to make family and friends special occasions more memorable.

Emily leaves behind her daughters, sons and their spouses: Ruth & Harold Savage, Richard &
Karen Rossignol, Janet &Bruce Smith, Andrew Rossignol & Christy Spurlock, James & Donna
Rossignol, Glenn & Peggy Rossignol.

She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, her special god
children, her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Emily is predeceased by her grandson, Kyle Rossignol. She is also predeceased by her sister
Catherine (Kitty) Kulak and brother Adam Muszynski and many brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s,
nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bel Air Manor in Newington, CT (Emily’s home for the
past 5 years) and the Hospice Team from Vitas for their compassionate care and the dignity
they provided for mom. Mom was a very special lady who loved being pampered by the staff,
since the passing of dad who was her main pamperer.

Emily’s family would love for you all to share any special memory you have of mom on the
Luddy-Peterson website Tribute Wall, so please don’t be shy!

A Mass of celebration will be held at St. Maurice Church, 100 Wightman Rd, New Britain CT
06052 on Friday June 26, 2026, at 10:30 am followed by a graveside service at St Mary

choice.
