Espiridion Flores (Pete),76, Wolcott Resident, passed away peacefully on Feb. 16. He is predeceased by his parents Espiridion C. and Juana Flores and sister Velia Garza from El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Marian Flores and her son Richard Wilkinson and Rhiannon Flinter; other sons and spouses are Pete Jr. and Edith Flores, Anthony and Elva Marie Flores, and Nicholas and Leslie Flores. Also, many grandchildren and great grands. Siblings include Mary Davis, Sally Chavez, Lupe Gonzales, and brothers Richard Flores, Tony Flores, Andy Flores and Renee Flores.
Pete loved watching women’s sports especially UCONN Women’s basketball. He was an avid golfer, excellent mechanic, electrician who specialized in hydraulic repair. A family man who spoiled his pets. He attended church regularly and loved serving and helping others. A Vietnam veteran who was also a retired Navy SEAL. A man who loved God, his country and family.
Arrangements will be held February 26 at the Luddy Funeral Home, 205 South Main St., New Britain. Calling Hours 10:00 – 11:45am, Following personal time, there will be a military service presentation.
