Ezequiel A. Ortiz, age 49 of New Britain, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Ezequiel was born September 15, 1972 in New Britain, CT.; the beloved son of Virginia Ortiz & the late Dolores Ortiz.
Ezequiel was an excellent chef and enjoyed making meals for his family and friends. He had a kind heart and cared for his loved ones. When his mother was ill, Ezequiel was her main caregiver; ensuring she was always looked after and loved. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Along with his mother, Virginia, Ezequiel is survived by his: son, Michael & daughter-in-law Kayla; sister, Juanita Ortiz & brother-in-law Abdulio Colón; sister, Susan Gonzalez & brother-in-law Wilfredo Quiñones; brother, Josue Ortiz; brother, Pedro Ortiz; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service Honoring Ezequiel's Life will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. The Prayer Service will commence at 6:00PM at The Luddy - Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, New Britain, CT. 06051.
