Gabriel T Tartaglia

Gabe Tartaglia longtime resident of Wolcott, Ct, passed away on June 7, 2025, he was 74. Born in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of Pasquale and Josephine Tartaglia. He attended Kennedy High school.

He was employed by New England Masonry for over 40 years as a mechanic. Gabe was a VFW and fought in Vietnam. He enjoyed helping friends in need and always had a generous spirit. He loved watching his western TV shows especially "Gunsmoke". Also made good homemade wine for years. And he loved his German shepherds. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He had many cherished friends. He is survived by his brother Dan Tartaglia and his wife Gina of Waterbury and his niece Melissa Rund and her husband Phil of Long Island, NY. He is pre-deceased by 2 sisters Patricia Marino and Darlene Tartaglia. And also, his nieces Sara Marino of NJ and Katie Marino of FL. 

There will be no calling hours. A private memorial will be held at the family's discretion. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please consider making a contribution to your local Animal Rescue Foundation.
