Harry A. Albin, 81, of Bethel, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Albin was born on August 5, 1939, in Norwalk, CT. He was the son of the late George and Sadie (Robertson) Albin.
He is pre-deceased by his wife, Ethel M. (Lincoln) Albin; his sisters, Barbara M. (Albin) Cote and Judy (Albin) Hanson, his brother, George S. Albin Jr., his son, Donald Albin, a grandson, Timothy Lester Hoyt, and a great-granddaughter, Celeste Marie Madison.
He is survived by a sister, Sadie (Albin) Cote; his stepdaughters, Joni (Montesi) Stankaitis, Cheryl (Montesi) Machado, and Mary Ellen (Montesi) Oswald; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Germershausen, Kimberly Simpson, Jason Madison, Christopher Oswald, Jennifer Ogden, Kevin Oswald, Brandon Machado, several nieces and nephews, and many great grandchildren.
He was an employee of the Town of Bethel until retirement and was a volunteer Fireman at Bethel Fire House for many years. He loved going to Three Brothers Restaurant in Danbury, Connecticut, where he became friends with the owners and waitresses.
Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home in New Britain, Connecticut is in charge of arrangements.
A celebration of his life will be held sometime this year due to COVID-19.
