JD Stevens Obituary

JD Stevens died unexpectedly at his home in New Milford on February 23, 2023. JD, whose given name was John David Everett Stevens, was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 31, 1980.
He grew up in Connecticut where he was passionate about cooking, and went on to become a chef in several area restaurants. Proud of his Scottish heritage, JD spent many hours researching his family's history. He dearly loved his four children and spent many happy moments with them.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Bell Stevens of Southbury, his fiancee, Jennifer Berry of New Milford, and his sisters Vanessa Lewis (Kevin) of Clinton, and Alison Shears (Jeffrey) of New Milford.
He is also survived by his beloved children, Hailey Lynn, Jayden Wilson, and Layla Ann of Southbury, and Paisley Theresa of New Milford. His Aunt Marion Bell (Ralph) of Southbury.Also his niece and nephews, Colby, Connor, and Cara Shears of New Milford.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Church of the Epiphany, 262 Main Street North, Southbury, CT. A reception will follow in the church hall. There is adequate parking and all of JD's many friends are welcome
