Jack Goodhart Petersen

Jack Goodhart Petersen, age 76, of Deep River, CT., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Middlesex Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

Jack was born August 25, 1945 in East Haven, CT; the beloved son of the late Goodhart Miles Petersen & Norma Theresa (Bittner) Petersen.

Jack was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He proudly served his country and community in the Connecticut-Army National Guard. Jack spent most of his time fishing, working on engines, or reading a good book. He worked for many years as a salesman before eventually owning multiple businesses of his own. Jack will be remembered most for the love he shared for his family and friends. He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Jack is predeceased by his: wife, Toni Petersen, and brother, Dwight Petersen.

Jack is survived by his: daughter, Terri Wagner & son-in-law David; daughter, Marie Gerrie; four grandchildren, Kyle, Julianna, Aaron, Stefan; brother, Edward Peterson; sister, Lynn Delguidice; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
