Jadwiga Janina Stazewska

Jadwiga Janina Stazewska passed away peacefully in her 91st year on Saturday July 24, 2021.  Jadwiga was born in Żyrardów, Poland on May 26, 1930.  She endured World War II with her family and is a survivor of these events.  Jadwiga immigrated to the United States in 1968 with her husband and daughter.  While in the United States she enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.  She loved to cook and make sure that she had many photos of her loved ones.  Jadwiga attended a local Polish church in Connecticut for many years and valued her Christian faith. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Ludwik and her daughter Hanna.  

She is survived by her son in-law Neil Kruel of Union, Missouri, her grandsons Aaron and Joshua Kruel of Union, Missouri, and also many friends and family members in the United States and Poland. 

Jadwiga had a gentle and caring presence.  She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by those she has left behind.  T

he visitation will be held at Luddy Funeral Home in New Britain, CT on Friday July, 30th from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. followed by an internment at Fairview Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
