James R. Fusaro, known to all as “Jim”. He was a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida. Jim passed
away on May 1, 2025. He was 64 years old. Jim was born in New Britain, Connecticut. He was
the son of Mina and Ronald Fusaro. Jim worked for the State of Connecticut for 25 years for the
Department of Labor and Connecticut OSHA.
Jim enjoyed his involvement in Boy Scouting, where he was a Troop Leader and he also enjoyed
baseball, coaching games for his son’s team. Jim was an avid Red Sox fan.
Jim is survived by his wife of forty years, Linda Gale Fusaro; his eldest son, Evan James Fusaro
and his wife Jenna Fusaro and his granddaughter, Lillian Fusaro; and his younger son, Andrew
Ronald Fusaro and his wife Katherine Fusaro and his two other granddaughters, Maisie Fusaro
and Lena Fusaro. He is further survived by his two brothers, Michael Fusaro and Robert Fusaro;
and multiple in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service to celebrate Jim’s life will take place on Monday May 12, 2025, from 3:00
p.m. to 5:00 p.m.at Luddy-Peterson Funeral Home located at 205 South Main Street New
Britain, CT 06051.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made to Make a Wish Foundation in
Jim’s name.
