John Palin Obituary

John Edward Palin Jr. Longtime resident of New Britain Connecticut passed away on Wednesday October 9th He was 77 years old

Born on October 15th 1946 in New Britain, CT he was the son of John Edward Palin Sr. and Ann Palin (Fleming). He graduated from New Britain High School in the class of 1964. He
was employed at Connecticut Light and Power as an electrician. Later in life he became a skilled commercial boat captain and worked freelance for various employers throughout southern New England and the Caribbean. He also served as a co-lead Elder of the ManKind Project.

Jack was a veteran of the US Army military police and faithfully served in the Vietnam War in Saigon. In his youth he was a member of Saint Joseph’s Church and served as an altar
boy. He also attended Saint Joseph’s school. He enjoyed sailing the East Coast, traveling throughout the country and making new friends where ever he went. He will be remembered for his raucous sense of humor, his generosity, loyalty and love for his friends and family.

He is survived by Francis Dominski-Palin of East Hampton CT, Kathleen & Reese Norris of Lecanto, FL, Michael & Jean Palin of New Britain, CT. He is also survived by nephews Brian
Dominski, Liam Palin and Morgan Norris, nieces Michelle Dominski Sawyer, Tracy Dominski and Claire Palin. Great nephews Jacob & Jadin Sawyer. He I predeceased by his father and
mother John & Ann, niece Mary Norris and great nephew Alex Meeker.
