It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of Jozefa Gorski of New Britain, CT at the age 93. She passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2023.
She was a courageous and resilient woman who was known for her generous and loving heart with her exceptional craftsmanship at sewing, knitting, and gardening.
She was the "go-to" Babci to fix, mend, or create whatever was needed. She knitted and continued to care for her favorites, Mirty and paprotki plants till shortly before her passing. Her greatest joy was family gatherings with authentic Polish meals. She will be remembered and missed for her warm smile and generous heart.
She is survived by four daughters and 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased and joined in heaven by her loving husband Jan Gorski and 4 children and grandson. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart.
In honoring the wishes of Jozefa, there are no calling hours. She was laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetary.
