Kerry - Beth Mangone

Kerry-Beth (Clinch) Mangone age, 49 of New Britain, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at The Hospital of Central CT of New Britain, surrounded by the love and support of her family.

Kerry was born February 9, 1972 in New Britain, CT., the beloved daughter of Robert Clinch & Joyce (Chesanek) Clinch. She attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Kerry was employed for many years by the State of Connecticut Emissions Testing Center, and later worked for Story Brother Inc,.  However, her true passion was caring for pets in need. 

Kerry was so much more than her struggles. She loved to cook and spent hours creating her dishes using only the most expensive ingredients to share with all.  She loved and befriended every animal she came across; many of them making their homes with Kerry.  The beach and her family made her happiest.  She enjoyed summers at the Cape, playing with her niece and nephew and gathering hermit crabs.   Anyone who knew Kerry  knew she had a very generous and kind heart.  She'd give you anything, even if it wasn't hers to give.  She was a silly girl, laughing and joking with her family every chance she could get.  Saturday Night Live was one of her favorites and we are sure she will be "chopping broccoli" as much as she can.  She was a kid at heart which is why she adored her niece and nephews.  She would call constantly to see how they were and be sure she told them she loved them.  She loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing Kerry is now at peace surrounded by light. 

In addition to her parents, Kerry is survived by her: two sisters, Colleen Clinch and Patti Kozikowski & brother-in-law Bruce; niece, Kelsey Kozikowski, two nephews Kevin Kozikowski and Casey Clinch; two aunts, Irma Czerwinski and Sharon Chesanek; uncle, Bill Chesanek; several cousins, in particular Celie Lebron and Mary Sanders; as well as special family friends Dave and Debbie Mangone.

A Memorial Service Honoring Kerry’s Life will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM at Luddy - Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, New Britain, CT. 06051.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at the Divine Providence Church next door.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
