Kurt Kindblom Obituary

Kurt Norman Kindblom, age 49 of Bristol, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2020.

Kurt was born November 29, 1971 in Bristol, CT.; the beloved son of Penelope “Penny” (Soucy) & the late Clinton Arthur Kindblom.  He graduated from schools in Bristol and later attended Johnson State College in Vermont.  Kurt worked as a technical systems software assistant within the insurance industry; most recently with United Healthcare. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a civil engineer. Along with his father Clinton, Kurt is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Norman Hector Kindblom & Flora Rondeau Kindblom and his maternal grandparents, Edgar Laurence Soucy & Doris Jeanette (Lambert) Soucy.

Kurt’s love was all encompassing and family meant everything to him.  The greatness of his heart touched everyone who had the honor of knowing him.  Kurt had a green thumb and loved nature and gardening.  He found joy in sunny days and time spent by the ocean.  Kurt loved animals, especially his three pugs.  He was surrounded by the grace of a large circle of friends and he lived his life being grateful for them.  He practiced gratitude and truly appreciated the beauty of life.  Kurt will be missed deeply.

In addition to his mother Penny,  Kurt is survived by his two children, son, Tristan Nicholas Kindblom & daughter, Peyton Alyse Kindblom who were his sunshine and brought light to his life; beloved sister, Kelly Lynn Kindblom with whom he shared many smiles and memories; the mother of Kurt’s children, Christine Kindblom who shared many years with Kurt, offering her heart, her love, and her support; Kelly’s partner and best friend, Christopher Joey Caputo; niece, Hailey Kirby Posadas & nephew, Airman Kyle Anthony Posadas who Kurt held a special place in heart for and was so proud to watch grow; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
