Raised in Washington, CT, daughter of James and Vincena Cocilovo, Lucia had been a New Britain, CT resident for 35 years. She was employed by the law firm Ritter, Satter & Newman for many years and most recently Linens & Things, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family: sister Josephine Bauer & husband Robert Bauer of Kent, CT, sister Sarah (Sally) Adams & husband Duey Adams of New Milford, CT, her niece Paula and her family and nephews Steve, Tom, Chris and Dan and their families. There was a special love in her heart for for her great-nephew Joshua Adams and his parents Tom & Katherine Adams of New Milford, CT - and Josh’s dog Virginia!
“I love when people laugh. I enjoy a good joke, telling one and making people laugh.
I love wind, not the biting winter wind, but a good good strong wind in spring or fall.
I love dancing to music with a Spanish tempo. I can feel that music down to my toes. There’s no music that compares.” Lucia Scacco
