Marjorie Utter

Marjorie Utter, 79, passed from this life to eternity with God on February 28, 2024 at the McLean Health Center in Simsbury, Connecticut.  Marjorie spent her early years in Upstate New York and then moved to West Hartford.  As one who learned not to see herself as a victim of Cerebral Palsy, one of her fondest memories is of her time as camp secretary at Harkness Memorial State Park CP camp.  Her advice to others is “Don’t give up.  Keep on going; keep on moving ahead.  There is always a rainbow at the end of the storm.”  She was predeceased by her parents, George and Thelma Utter, and her beloved brother, George.  She is survived by nephew, Seth Utter.  Her faith, sweet spirit and “fighter” attitude will be missed by all who knew her.  Our lives are enriched because we knew her.  We thank the staff of the Chapel Crossing Unit at McLean.  Arrangements are private.
