Mary A. Kulig-Rogers, a longtime resident of Newington, Connecticut passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, she was the daughter of John and Sophie Kulig. She attended and graduated from Quinnipiac University with her bachelor's degree and soon after became a Phlebotomy Technician at St. Francis Hospital, where she worked for more than 30 years. She was a part of the Civil Air Patrol for many years. She was an avid bowler and an animal lover, especially of cats. She was a devout Catholic and attended many different churches over the years in New Haven and Newington, Connecticut. She would say her Rosary at 3 p.m. every day faithfully. She is survived by her cousins Pat Carroll, whom she loved very dearly, Patrick Jr., Patrick Sr., and Daniel Carroll. She is also survived by her dear friends Jodi, Lauri, her neighbor Edith, and her longtime friend of 45 years, James Brunelle. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Sophie Kulig, and her spouse, Carol Rogers. Family and friends are invited to St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516, on June 25 at 12 p.m. for an outdoor Catholic burial.
